Join Madelyn Harrison to learn how develop good habits with your pig (and your showman). Learn what to do as soon as pigs are home, how to begin and be successful in the training process.

In this session, we will discuss feed nutrients, reading a feed tag, water, separate vs multiple pigs in a pen, and full feed vs ration. Al Schminke will walk you through the basics of understanding how to feed your pig.

This session will discuss pen set up for bringing pigs home, water and feed pans, importance of cleanliness, bedding and air movement. Brevin Harris will share his knowledge to help you make sure your set-up is going to serve you and your pigs well.

Here, Blane Olsen will discuss what type of pig it takes to win an elite show and how to choose a pig. He will discuss if winning a banner is “luck,” or “skill,” and how many pigs you need to start with.

Jenna Siegel will give tips on how to overcome challenging pigs at home, practicing like you would show, and tips to keep the pigs head up. Come and learn best practices for show life at home.

Here, we will break down how to differently feed each type of pig, feeding a heavily muscled vs skinny hog, and feeding a barrow vs gilt. Join Clay Pruet as he helps remove the mystery of feeding all types of pigs.

How to receive your pigs and get them off to a good start in first 30 days. Join Dr. David Farnum, DVM as he helps you know how best to keep your pigs healthy.

Savanna Williams will discuss high level feeding tips, feeding for multiple shows, and how to identify what your pig needs ration wise.

In this session, Macy will discuss showmanship basics and hot to master them, and getting the most out of your animal. This session is perfect for the beginner showman.

In this session, you will learn when to push or hold your pig and how to do it safely, maintain pig gut health, and to use or not use scales. 

Carrie Brockman will discuss a day in the life of a show hog family-their barn routine and what they do that sets them apart in the ring. Learn how busy families navigate all that goes into showing.

Trevor Kirkpatrick will discuss developing a growth mindset that will produce results. Know that you will be challenged, encouraged, and will be a better showman for joining Trevor’s session.

Maddie Fugate will discuss reading the ring, showing posture, timings, anticipating the judge, and professionalism in the ring. Maddie is an expert showman and will challenge you to become a better showman as well.

This session will discuss feed additives – how they work and how best to use them. Paylean vs Paylean free show. Feeding for multiple shows.

Megan Hindman will discuss preventative care, vaccinations, deworming, keeping show hogs healthy, and health papers. This is part 1 of a 2 part session. 

Little things matter. Let’s discuss those little things like hair training, how to clip, and painting and when its acceptable. Join Brevin Harris to help you know how to prepare for a show.
